I am in the process of adding a new set of code, which I am calling "Jounin skills".
Previous skill sets added:
"Chuunin skills" (aka level 70 skills):
Taijutsu: Muay Thai = an extra attack per round Genjutsu: Chokkan = halves wait time between skills used Ninjutsu: Chikara = (for many skills) does triple versions of the skills, e.g. chikara heal heals 3 times as much Artist: Dual Wield = ability to wield 2 weapons, for an extra attack per round
"Tokubetsu skills" (aka level 110 skills):
Taijutsu: Kaimon = gate of opening, gives 3 extra attacks per round, but stuns when it wears off (Omote Renge = when using Kaimon, first use Buyou to kick them up in the air then Omote Renge does a huge pile drive for massive damage, but stuns the player afterwards when it wears off) Genjutsu: Chisei = lets genjutsu skills work more often Ninjutsu: Raikiri = a massive attack that can only be used on first hit Artist = Kuroari = a 2nd puppet, that can do combo attacks with Karasu, including instant kill attacks
Now, these are the new skills:
"Jounin skills" (aka level 152 skills):
Taijutsu: Kyuumon = gate of rest, gives double stamina + stamina bonuses (Buddha's Palm = when using Kyuumon, this gives a big area attack that hits all enemies at once for big damage) Genjutsu: Shishi Dojou = zombie creation, giving you up to 5 zombies to follow you around and assist in battle (Bakuhatsu = zombie explosion, letting you explode a zombie for huge area damage) (Shikon = wandering zombies, letting zombies free to wander the land and hurt random strangers) Ninjutsu: Nanairo = Rainbow Rasengan, which does 7 types of attacks and affects to a single enemy Artist: Sanshouo = Salamander, a defensive puppet which can block attacks and you can even hide inside
The main skills are learned off scrolls but the support skills (with brackets around them) are gained from training at Iruka and practising. These support skills cannot work without the main skills. Whilst you can learn them without the scrolls, it is a bit pointless as you won't be able to use them.
Zombies have been quite complex to do and I have been spending some time over them. In the series, Kabuto used a number of zombies, and so did the grave robbers in one of the filler episodes, at one point trying to take over Konoha using zombies!
The zombie skills in many ways are my creation. Certainly, there was no skill called Bakuhatsu - that is just the Japanese name for explosion. In the series, Kabuto on several occasions exploded zombies using exploding notes, and I simply felt to turn that into a jutsu in itself.
Whilst Narutopedia would tell us that these zombie skills are Ninjutsu and are Earth Release (Doton), I think that, as mind manipulation techniques, they are more appropriate under the Genjutsu side of skills. I also feel that it helps to balance out Genjutsu somewhat to have these kind of powerful damage-causing skills. Bakuhatsu could effectively give 5 big bombs per battle, while of course Shikon adds yet another fun skill to the Genjutsu skill set, whereby they can annoy other players.
Of note, though, the zombies are set to not be able to attack players under level 35.
I am yet to start on the Salamander puppet, partially because players are complaining that there are still some issues with the Kuroari puppet.
I am looking at making the salamander puppet be able to block all kinds of attacks, but not automatically.
Commands may be:
Sanshouo Physical = attempts to block any kind of physical attack (taijutsu/ninja artist), adding a 10% block chance to completely block it, but adding a 5% greater chance for the puppet to be destroyed. Sanshouo Mental = attempts to block any form of non-physical attack (ninjutsu/genjutsu/fire etc), adding a 10% block chance to completely block it, but adding a 5% greater chance for the puppet to be destroyed. Sanshouo Block = attempts to block any kind of attack, adding a 5% block chance to completely block it, but adding a 5% greater chance for the puppet to be destroyed. Sanshouo Hide = allows the player to completely hide inside the puppet, where they are completely immune to all attacks, but are also unable to fight back. This adds a 10% greater chance for the puppet to be destroyed. Sanshouo Unhide = returns the player to battle, coming out of the puppet.
Basically, these commands would allow a player to attempt to block a type of attack completely. The attacks would still have a chance to get through, and, importantly, when doing this, the puppet master couldn't do anything else. It might be useful if trying to delay things for a while, but otherwise it might not be that good an idea. Using hide, though, they could then heal up, and then go back to fighting later on.
